Hi!
My name is Helen, I'm 23 years old, and I've decided to start blogging about my wedding plans!
Me and my other half (James) have been together for seven years, and got together when I was 16 and have stayed together ever since! We got engaged in May 2013 and were going to get married in a couple of years time when we could afford to, and could also afford a place to live!
We have realised now that for us, they aren't both possible right now! I'm on a small wage myself, I live with my parents, and my partner is also going to be on a low wage too. So we decided that we could probably afford a wedding if we paid for things bit by bit and then by the time of the wedding we would hopefully have better jobs so then we could look at renting a flat or something! It might not be the best plan but we are going to try it!
Oh and now it has been made harder as James is moving to Spain Saturday (tomorrow! ahh!) to teach English to children! This could be seen as a good thing as I get to do loads of stuff for the wedding without much of his input.. but at the same time you want you hubby to be there with you when you go to look at venues etc - as its YOUR wedding!!
So for now, I'm going to take little baby steps.. and probably go to a few wedding fayres!
